Department of History at Joya Gogoi College was established in the year 1998. Presently, the department offers B.A with major in History , affiliated to Dibrugarh University. The department has three full time faculty. The department is well equipped with library/books and organizes seminar, workshops on regular basis. We are looking for bright and motivated students who want to take History as a career option.
